Has anyone used a K&N filter in a new Jeep Wrangler with the 3.8 liter engine?

OK, I am sure somebody has. I am looking for experiences on performance and gas mileage.

There is no performance change but the K&N filter will “act” on the car like a stock air cleaner, but longer lasting that stock.
Like having a fresh air cleaner everyday.
Changing the filter alone won’t help much but I do have a AME Cold Air Intake on my Wrangler and it makes a big difference in power and did help a little with mpg.
