I ordered the Rough Country 4″ Series II for my Wrangler TJ and I upgraded the shocks and steering stabilizer to the 2.2′s. Was this a good move or not?

Sure. It is an average suspension lift fot the TJ Jeeps. The shock upgrade was a great idea. This kit will work good for basic off roading such as trail driving and desert fun. It is not a long arm kit, but it will still work for rock crawling. It is also super easy to install with basic hand tools and a pry bar.
I have installed the Rough Country 3″ lift on three different Cherokees. They have performed well and are much less expensive than others of similar quality.
