So far the best I’ve heard is 5,000 off msrp. From 26,775 to 21,755. Anyone heard better offers?
Well, Jeep was offering 0% on ’08s if that’s of any interest to you…You get the lifetime powertrain warranty as well. I’m not sure if that was available on the ’07s. If you’re wanting an ‘07, $21,755 sounds like a pretty good price.

As much as some like to swear airbags are the way to go, I don’t feel a untility vehicle used for off roading needs this. I suppose if it were a primary means of transportation on major highways this would be more practical.
take out the air bag fuse(s) but dont wreck it like that because your ins. co. will not cover anything that happens

I am overseas and considering buying a Wrangler Unlimited on my next trip to the states. I haven’t had the chance to test drive one is the reason for the question. I have heard that the road noise is quit considerable.
They are very noisy, the ride is terrible and you will burn up in the summer and freeze in the winter……..

I was wondering becasue it is almost a dollar cheaper….I’ve heard its a bad idea, but I just wanted to get a general consensus. Its a 99 TJ.
Nope. E85 has a high octane rating. You could convert your jeep to run on E85, but you wouldnt be saving any money. While E85 is cheaper, the mpg would drop. By running E85 the mpg would drop by about 8mpg. So if you have the 2.5 4 cyl, your 18/20mpg would drop to 10/12mpg. It wouldnt be worth converting to run it.

if there is a mechanic or car expert out there, i was curious how much it would cost to place my tie rods in my 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo. i would just need a very general idea of how much it could be. thank you!
You’re probably referring to the tie rod ends, not the tie rod. Tie rod ends run $25-$60 a piece, and you’ll need two of them. Add in labor, and you’re probably around $100-$175 total.

I want to make it into a really solid vehicle off road but still be nice driving around town. I have no idea about jeeps and i am new to off roading.
check out quadratec.com they have alot of awesome parts. they also have parts advisors (lift kit advisor, soft top advisor) to help you pick the right parts and the ones you want. they quicly narrow down what is right for you.
