Comparative Survey
Topic: Comparative survey to study different social behaviors of Iranian-Americans, Korean-Americans and Native Americans
Description: Iranians have been among the many ethnics immigrating to the USA during the last half a century. Unfortunately, after a long time of the presence of Iranians in the United States, the status of these people is obscure in the society of USA. To conduct any study on this community, we need to have a reliable set of data. For this purpose, SUGIA has planned to run a comprehensive survey to collect information on different aspects of the Iranians socials behavior. In this survey, we are planning to cover a broader range of questions on social, economical, cultural and political behavior of the Iranian community. Another main feature of this survey is to being comparative, in the sense that not only Iranians but also Americans as the native people of the USA and Koreans as another minority in this country are questioned. Such a comparison enables us to have a better understanding of differences and similarities of the Iranians in the United States with other people in their society. We hope that the data extracted from this survey can be a trustworthy source of information for any further study on this young community.
